Mission orbital scenario includes:

  • Transfer to cislunar orbit.
  • Initial lunar orbit (approx 150 km high). This interval is used to prepare the spacecraft for regular operation near the Moon.
  • Low polar orbit with an altitude of 60 to 80 km. The orbit is used to perform continuous stereoimaging of Moon surface. The time of operation in this orbit is at least one year and until the reserve of fuel for orbit correction has been exhausted.
  • High polar orbit with an initial altitude of 150 km. This orbit should allow spacecraft operation for the whole lifetime with no orbit corrections.
